Performance is just as important in cruising as it is in racing. With this in mind Alan Andrews Yacht Design has designed a yacht in a size range that can easily be handled by you and yours--whether at sea or at the dock. The Andrews 44 makes escaping to the island with your spouse or competing in a double-handed race with your kids a reality. To get you where you're going quickly we gave her a performance oriented low center of gravity fin/bulb keel combination that allows her to sail efficiently on all points of sail while providing excellent stability. The large mainsail and fractional non-overlapping jib keep sail handling a snap. A masthead asymmetrical is available for great offwind performance. The standard interior includes two double cabins with ensuite heads, large main cabin and spacious galley. Three cabin model also available.
